The All England Club will host one of the most prestigious events in all of tennis over the next two weeks, as the 2014 Wimbledon features a field of big names and competitors.
Many of those big names bowed out early in 2013, much to the shock of many. Rafael Nadal was ousted in Round 1. Roger Federer lost in Round 2. Novak Djokovic lost in the final to Andy Murray.
On the women's side, Serena Williams was the biggest disappointment. After winning three of the past four Wimbledon's, Williams lost in Round 4. That opened the door for Marion Bartoli to win the Grand Slam.
